Taste of Abu Dhabi 2016

We just came back from three amazing days at Taste of Abu Dhabi, Nov. 10-12, 2016, promoting our wide range of innovative grourmet snacks. Hunter Foods’ stand was right in front of the main stage! People came from all corners of Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE to enjoy the event and tasted our products on display.Of course, some of the fan’s all-time favourites were there: Hunter’s Gourmet range of Hand Cooked Potato Chips, Baked PretzOs, FruQbs, Mixed Vegetable, Mixed Fruit and Beetroot Chips! It was a smorgasbord of all the best you have come to expect. There were also new alternative gourmet snacks such as our Hunter’s Gourmet Whole Grain Corn Chips. They have quickly become a hit with those young and old, local and expat alike. We feel the simple ingredients really speak to our customers who have come to know Hunter Foods as the healthier food and snack manufacturer and distributer in the GCC. The dough is made of whole grain corn called “masa.” The masa is kneaded with freshly chopped vegetables, from the farm to the dough within 7 days, and a bit of sea salt added for seasoning. Our Hunter’s Gourmet Whole Grain Chips are truly made of simple ingredients for clean eating. As Jamie Oliver preaches, “real food doesn’t have ingredients. Real food IS ingredients.” The entire flavour comes from the corn and freshly chopped spinach & kale, beetroot, jalapeño or chipotle chilies. Another wonderful thing about showcasing at an event like Taste of Abu Dhabi is that we get to bring all our partners’ products with us! The products we distribute throughout the region as part of our Hunter’s Collection can be highlighted to each individual at our stand. We are the exclusive distributer of Sahale super premium mixed fruit & nut snacks. The varieties are Honey Almonds, Pomegranate Vanilla Flavored Cashews, Maple Pecans, and Pomegranate Flavored Pistachios. Yum! Also perfect for party season are our kii Organic Crisps/Artisan Crackers or Nairn’s Oatcakes with gluten free options. Perfect for dipping or as a side for a soup and bisque.     Coming together as a team to provide the community with great alternative snacks is a fantastic way to connect with other foodies. It is during this time that we can shake the hand of the mother who always buys her child Baked PretzOs for their school snack, or the on-the-go business man who grabs the Hand Cooked Potato Chips to hold him over till dinner. We can really speak with our customers and discuss with them what they like and what snacks they want to try more of in this region. We are consumer driven and find at events like Taste of Abu Dhabi we can do what we do best, and that is making these amazing, high-quality gourmet food and snacks available to everyone in this region!
