We are proud to support and sponsor the Emirates Group Karting Club at the Dubai Kartdrome Endurance Championship Round 3 this weekend! This race is one of the main highlights on the motorsport calendar. Teams from around the world come to Dubai to challenge this extreme endurance race series. Each round of karting is as tough as it gets, with every stage having a different objective: Round 3 runs for 700 kilometers, that will last for a grueling 12 hours on track. The Emirates Group Karting Club (EGKC) was formed by a few passionate petrol-heads working for Emirates Airlines in early 2011. After taking part in a few 24-hour endurance races and coming in a very respectable 2nd place corporate in the NFM 24 hr endurance race in 2009, it was decided that an Emirates Airlines karting club should be formed which would be open to all Emirates Group employees and their immediate family. About the race: "The team finished the 700kms race at the Dubai Kartdrome endurance championship under a hot and humid weather. The Kambay King Coconut water helped the team to keep the hydration level high. The Sahale Cashews was great in flavors and the visitors enjoyed snacking on it. The big impact was the Quinoa Chips everyone loved it! About the result, the overall team result was great, the corporate team finished 1^st in their category. The Pro team finished 2^nd and was not able to win the 3^rd race in the row. But we will work hard for the next round!" stated Team Emirates Arjun.
